With a well-developed and deep understanding of the unique culture of independent schools in the UK, The English Education offers advice rooted in knowledge of current trends in education.

The English Education is impartial in all of its advice and will offer objective and unbiased decisions when presenting recommendations to clients.

The English Education offers a School Search Package including the following elements for all clients:

  1. a full background check on your child’s academic progress to date;

  2. a consultation regarding personal considerations for school choices (single sex or co-educational, style of boarding, location, extra-curricular choices, ethos, culture and budget);

  3. an overview of the current UK education system and how it relates to international systems.

This initial consultation is undertaken to distinguish each child’s individual skill profile. Parental and family opinion and expectation will be considered although at the end of the process an honest appraisal of the ability of the individual to meet entrance criteria for selected schools will be given – The English Education is an advice and support agency and does not guarantee admission for any child to a specific institution. Not every school is right for every child.

A School Search Report on the outcomes of the initial consultation will be prepared once research into schools has been undertaken, with a long list of suitable schools being drawn up.

Upon receipt of the School Search Report, clients will be offered a range of additional services, including:

  1. the formulation of a school visit timetable;

  2. guidance into final decisions for a short list of schools to visit;

  3. support with and, if desired and deemed appropriate, attendance at school interviews;

  4. help with applications and admissions processes, including tests;

  5. careers and higher education advice.
